What is this noise?!

did you check if your drive shaft bolts are tight and how is the gear oil in the transfer case?

I did have the front seal on the transfer case replaced at a shop because at one point there was gear oil sprayed everywhere underneath. Turned out to not be the culprit because after they gave it back, it did it again. It ended up being the seal at the top of the transfer case where the shifter is located. I fixed that.
So maybe the shop didn't tighten everything to spec after the front seal replacement?

I greased the u-joints on mine today and the noise went away, might be worth a shot.

Well my noise is back, quite loud and annoying, and sporatic (almost). It still goes away under acceleration, and reappers on coasting, as demonstrated in the video. It can be heard inside and outside the vehicle, and within the course of 2 hours it appeared, disappeared, and reappeared again, and the only correlation I can come up with is outside temps. The noise disappeared during a warmer hour or so midday, but then cloud cover and wind chill returned, bringing the noise with it. U-joints still seeming plausible?

I'd definitely look at the u-joints, driveshaft, & slip yoke. Grease them a bit and see if it gets quieter. You can always lift and run the rear wheels off the ground (with stands or on a lift and all safety measures in place).
Thanks for the replies guys. I will definitely look into this. I will probably end up having another technician do it because I will be out of town for the next couple weeks and then needing this truck for a 1000 mile road trip north just a few days after I return, but ill have them look at that diagram to make sure they get them all this time.There are a quite a few zerks on the rear driveshaft, so I wouldn't be surprised if the technician didn't manage to lube them all.

I did mine today and so far it's quiet, seems to be resolved on my rig. I applied grease to about 8-9 different zerks along the front and rear driveshafts - both of the slip yokes, double cardon, all u-joints.
