What is this smaller box behind my main fuse box and can it be moved/relocated?

I’m sorry if this has been covered before; I did a good amount of searching but couldn’t find an answer.

I bought this tray to mount some electrical stuff to but now I’m afraid this little box will be in the way of mounting it. What is it and can it be moved/relocated?

Did you take the cover off to see what's inside?
It's relays if I'm not mistaken. Probably cant be moved without issues.
See if your tray can be modified. More than likely extra holes and maybe adjust your location slightly.

I briefly tried to open it last night while I was installing my compressor. It didn’t easily open so continued with what I was doing. I figured it was more fuses/relays but wasn’t sure.

The product page for the tray I bought says it should for my model but the model they use for installation doesn’t have that box.

It appears to be an easy solution by test fitting your items on the tray.
Mock fit the tray above the relay box as high as you can.
If necessary, make an extension piece for the part on the lower section of the tray.

When done, use sheet metal hex head screws to attach your tray to the inner fender.

I’ve got this same piece in order, along with the electrical components as well. There is an install video for the YP2 switch panel, that mounts on the bracket you have. In the video they show relocating that fuse box closer to the firewall. It seems easy enough in the video, though I have no real experience with this yet.
