I had my front windshield replaced on Friday and right away I noticed what I think controls the auto headlights looks different like they put a aftermarket one on for some reason. Is this what they all look like or does it look like they broke it and replaced it without me knowing?

Is it connected to anything? On my 2008, the only sensors are dome-shaped. Here's a reference pic courtesy of the internet

Yes it seems to go under the dash. I do have those other 2 sensors on the drivers side.

the wire slips off to the right. It’s hard to see in the picture.

Sirius/XM Radio antenna or HD radio antenna? Looks like what I’ve had come with my last 2 aftermarket radios.

Could have cut the factory one when replacing the windshield.

That actually is possible! I have a sticker in the engine bay that says it’s equipped with a remote start system but haven’t ever been able to get it to work with the factory fob. Maybe I was never given the key for it when I bought it.

can you call the glass company & ask what it is or what they did with it?

So I found a photo that was takin of the dash area from a few months ago and it actually looks like it is the same one just the plastic base obviously wasn’t stuck back down. Still have know idea why it’s there in the first place.
