What off-road lights are you guys using?

I like rigid because they have tons of options for all vehicles. I runs them on my can am max x3 which can light up the dunes like the sun. They have several different bumper lights for my Tundra tow vehicle. And if you are into the over head rack lights they have those too.

I too have rigid fog and ditch lights. I also got a pair of KC spot lights on the bumper. Although ,y friends baja squadrons on his Taco in ditch light position is pretty bright too!

I have a 14" Harbor Freight LED light bar behind the grill, wired as auxiliary high beams ( relay triggered by high beam + )

Rigid and Baja Designs are probably the most popular higher priced units. Both are great companies and you will find happy customers for each. They are expensive though.

I have heard good things about Extreme LED but have no personal experience with them and know they are on the most cost-effective side.

A company that has me intrigued right now is Lightforce. They are designed in AUS and used to be the go-to for high performance lighting. I feel like once Baja and Rigid took over the popular vote they kind of disappeared. However it seems like they have some fairly new and innovative products coming out and are still leverage the fact that the HID lights can still outshine any current LED product in terms of distance. Anyone have any feedback with the new Lightforce stuff? I know the old halogen stuff back in the day used to kick ass.

For my forward-facing aux lights I wanted high quality, dependability and true/accurate high output. Important to me, made in the USA, was also a factor. I went with Baja Designs.

It fit fine on my 4xinnovations front bumper.

I'm still running the cheap Nilight spot pods and 6.5" floods. 3 years and there's zero moisture in them. They are mounted on my front bumper and have been fully submerged a number of times. Nothing against Baja or Rigid. They are bad ass lights but #lockersbeforelightbars

Have Nilight spots in the rear. Less protected, less used, 12 bucks! The only lights I busted when I last off-roaded many years ago were in the rear...

I bought them 2+ years back, recently opened, one flickered. To Nilight's credit, after providing a video, they sent to me a free replacement...

I personally love Rigid and would recommend them to anyone. The quality is top notch and I have never had a single issue with any one of them. Not even the wiring harnesses, switches or relays provided with the lights. Have had them all 2+ yrs now
Only complaint with my Auxbeam bar is the powder coat is beginning to fade/ chalk up very badly (3yrs old) but still works great and doesn't leak.

I'm a big Lightforce and Hella fan. I don't have either on my 4runner currently because I'm deciding on bumpers first so I have a place to put them. In the past, I have had both. Lightforce stuff is incredibly high quality in my experience and I had a set of Hella 500s that I did the HID swap on and boy was it bright.

I'm really not a fan of the look of LED lights. Especially some of the very large light bars. On newer, more modern-looking cars and trucks it doesn't look as bad, but I just don't like the look on older vehicles.

I got four floodlights from summit racing which are about $25 each and some stainless steel mounting brackets which are $25 for a pair a believe. Soon I'm gonna but a 26-inch lightbar on my grille guard. It all depends on what you plan to light up, I wanted to light up the area around me hence why I put the lights around the roof rack.

Cheap Amazon $30 spot/flood hybrid light bar. I think it's 30". I bolted it right under the metal front bumper and it's lasted 4 years quite nicely. I drilled a couple of holes in the casing up top when it started to collect condensation and that made it work perfectly.

I use Baja Designs and PIAA for my driving aux/fog lights, and Rigid, KC and some eBay special s for camp/side lights. So far been very happy with the BDs and always been a fan of PIAA.
