What reason do they USE this type of wire

Hey folks
I am trying to get off a Double din HU from my other truck to my 2004 4R, There is this wiring off of a 30A fuse thats connected to a charger device(that plugs to a 12v) ..for what reason do they source this kind of connection.? Thanks.

lmao I did something similar to that with my dashcam except I actually took apart the plug and SOLDERED the input wires... Jesus that IS ghetto.

They probably did it to hide the 12v plug instead of leaving it plugged in somewhere outside the dash. Not sure what its for though?

A dashcam existence by P.O is quite possible..there is a good length of wire that left behind and shoved in behind the plastic at the driver knee side. Just for my knowledge, So sourcing from a 30A fuse..doesnt offer any fuse protection right !!

thats a bad ground bolt to use too, a better one would be by the driver door frame at the kick panel.

I had the same setup on mine that went to the xm radio. Trying to figure out how to tap into that to hook the iPhone into.
