What serpentine belt size for SC 2000 3.4?

I wouldn't be asking this if I had found it searching, but ....

Does anyone know the 4 rib serpentine belt size or part# for a SC 2000 4R w/atm?

It is a very good idea to obtain an extra supercharger belt and carry it with you in the truck just incase yours fails. This is not an item that is normally stocked at Toyota dealers and it may take a few days to special order one in from TRD and you would not want to get stranded. I have also checked with several of the larger auto parts stores and none of them stock that size belt. If you are wondering it is a 62" four ribbed belt and the original ones were made by Dayco for TRD.

You must not be searching very hard. Also, the belt is not a serpentine belt. The 4-runner has 3 regular drive belts, one that drives the A/C compressor, another that drives the cooling fan and power steering pump, and the third that normally drives the alternator. The TRD Supercharger belt is basically an extended length alternator belt, the extra length allows it to wrap around the supercharger's dynamic tensioner and nose drive pulley, then back down to the alternator, to drive both components instead of just the alternator alone.

P.S. I can't speak for the other guys, but I'm no guru, I just know how to research topics on the internet. This will be the last freebie I cough up for you, but I'm sure someone else will come through for you next time. :hello:

I gotta hand it to you BFAD...you've been very patient with me and my dumb questions. Sorry I'm not up to speed with the rest of you guys. The only excuse I have to offer is that I was severely damaged mentally and physically by an antibiotic a couple of years ago. I haven't been myself since. Everything is a struggle for me now...but I'm trying. Thanks to all that have helped me out on the forums and have been very patient.

I would like to caution you all to stay away from Cipro or Levaquin if you ever need to take an antibiotic. Cipro got me. Levaquin is just as bad. I hope this saves someone from the damage these Fluoroquinolones can do.

Damn Nacho, now you made me feel like a big jerk. :nono: Sorry man, I just thought you were being lazy. Seems like there's alot of questions that get asked non-stop on this forum... mainly w/regard to lifts. I never answer because I don't feel like reposting the same info over and over, but the S/C stuff I wanted to help. Let me know if you have any other questions, and I'll help if I can.
