What size speakers come stock in a 2001 SR5?

What size speakers come stock in a 2001 SR5 in the front doors? What is the max size that fits?

I belive they are 6.5" in the front door and the small tweeters in the front door frame are 1". I have read people having problems because their new speakers are too deep. If your doing it yourself, I would suggest looking at the speaker before buying a new one, or at least have the ability to exchange them if you they don't fit.

I totally agree with peter, I also was told that my 99 4runner needed 6 1/2'' front and 5 1/4'' back and i found out that neither fit (too deep). I suggest you take the stock speakers off and see how deep they are. I'm gonna install Qform kick panel for my new speakers to fit in.

they are 7" in the front. you can get a 6 1/2" in their with an adapter from www.mjmautoinnovations.com/speakeradapters
