What the... found half a dinner roll in suspension

Weird... half a dinner roll somehow got wedged above my front shock. I found it while taking off my winter tires. No idea how it got there.

(And check out that undercoating junk peeling off the spring and everywhere else... ick)

Previous or first owner must've opted for the undercoating (dealer-installed?). Now, it's peeling off... and it's probably holding moisture and causing more rust.

I've done that, actually - not with the 4Runner, but in my old Ford. I've cooked potatoes and heated up canned ravioli on the engine block. Just don't let the canned stuff get too hot...
