Ever heard the saying "can't please everyone"? A lot of members asked us to create some form of chaos control and organization in the classifieds section. So, all of us mods along with admin agreed on a standard for the classifieds. It cleans up the forum and allows for quick navigation through the classified section.

I'm sorry if you don't like it but we try to listen to the majority to make everyone happy, I guess this just wasn't your day.

SV, I don't have any issue with it. In fact location in the title should be mandatory. The only thing I'd like to suggest if I may us maybe rethink having to post a price in the title. My reasoning is that none of us can edit our title once we create it. If we decide to lower the price, people have to scroll through the posts or just may very well not even open the thread because they don't like the initial price. My $0.02

That's a good idea, ill bring it up to the mods and admin. However, I have been happy to change the name of threads for people on multiple occasions. I am still more than happy to do so. As I said though, ill mention your concerns to admin and the other mods.

[MENTION=24995]SV_Dude[/MENTION] it would really be awesome if instead of the standard thread post there was a form type posting for classifieds where you had to fill in a item title, location, price, and description or else you can't make a classifieds post. Also, I'd make it user editable so people can edit their price so it updates on the title.

I'm not sure if there is such a form that will work on the forums but ill bring it up and see if admin has a software or something that will do that.

I agree it is difficult and that you all do a service, volunteer the time to make this site better etc. Still I have browsed the classified section for 2+ years and never felt it was so out of control I should complain. So yes we all have different tolerances and IMO many people complain too much and push the mods to act.

I am glad that the 'feeler' ads stuff has been taken care of. I hate feeler ads.
