For anyone who is into classic style rap with actual rhymes and meaningful lyrics, you should try out Mos Def. His freestyling skills are absolutely killer. Lil Wayne doesn't compare.

Mos def is pretty sick the song Auditorium is pretty sweet and its relatively new. I like Black Star (Mos Def & Talib Kweli) too. They released an EP with 4 songs and they were all good. I also like Statik Selektah, 9th wonder, and Murs. Thats all some real good underground Hip-hop.
Agreed on lil wayne. He did have some sick songs, and Young money has had a good song or two, but all the new stuff is to much like club type music for me

It's great to see them get bigger and bigger. I've actually seen them twice in concert. Once in 06 and again in 2009. If and when they come back to the states, they are worth checking out if you are into that sort of thing. They put on a great show and they rocked the house.

And about a band putting on a great show, that is pretty hard to come by. I really dont see to many big shows. But i have seen quite a few shows from the hardcore scene. the best bands I have seen this year were
Asking Alexandria, The Ghost Inside, Alesana.
but most probably have never heard of those.
i also was impressed by Papa Roach, Eminem, and Smile Empty Soul... EPICENTER was a sick show in general
and now playing at the end of the post
