What was your first mod?

I also have all windows tinted. Front are at 35%, and the rear are all at 20% on top of the factory tint making them closer to 5%. :bigok:

I think taking off the running boards makes the 4runner look chopped up or "cheap". It's like when you see the raised pickups that have the front bumper torn off, for whatever reason. I plan on raising mine for more clearance. Not going to be cheap and just tear them off. Ive never had any problem with them getting in the way when I get in or out of the truck. Plus by removing them, you expose everything else that sticks out of the bottom, which looks really tacky.

It looks best on black, and white/silver are the opposites, so it wont look as "clean" as it does on a black, but you can always try it, and if you don't like it, buy some 3M double sided tape and put them back on. It just depends on if you want to waste the time putting them back on if you dont like it.

I was just funnin' on ya' since some people do alot of mods ASAP.

I did bug guard,wind deflector and clear corners all in the span of a half an hour but most of it was just swapping stuff from my '97 to my '99.
