Nothing wrong with a bracket lift, it's better than a spindle lift. Look at it this way, nearly every single lifted full size truck and SUV you see lifted has a bracket style lift kit.

As others have said, no bracket lift. Save the money and put it towards a great set of tires.

I have experience with fabtech products on multiple trucks and SUVs and they've always been great. That includes a bracket lift and it also performed flawlessly. Then again I think I'll have to agree with the coilover + body lift option. You should easily be able to fit 35s on the truck with that setup and you'll have the option to return it to stock quite easily.
I also want to say that I have to disagree with people saying the higher you go the harder it is to use it as a truck. We used a 8 inch lifted F250 on 37s to haul dirt, rock, lumber, etc when my friends family was remodeling their house/yard and I never felt like it was a burden. Yea it's taller and slightly more difficult to put stuff in the bed, but by that logic you might aswell leave it stock.

how many serious contractors do you see running around with lifted work trucks?... back when i was doing construction my boss had a 06 f350 witha 6" lift and 35s, sure it looked cool but he would always trade me trucks when he was going to pick up materials. you dont see many lifted service trucks either. sure it looks cool but not really practical. and a tacoma with a 3" lift and 33s is still gonna be shorter than a 3500 4x4 or f250 4x4 ect.

Oh I definitely agree with you. The majority of work/service trucks aren't lifted. I see a more when I'm in OK but not enough to matter. My point was that people do use really tall trucks as trucks and don't have trouble. Also like you said the Tacoma will be shorter and I personally don't think a 6 inch lift on 35s is impractical at all.

My opinion? 3" suspension lift. But like you said, it's not going to see much offroad. If you really want to do the bracket, go ahead. Just make sure you're up for the long haul. Kind of like a tattoo. Once you've got it, you're stuck with it. And you don't want a tattoo that you might like now but down the road you might hate.

Lol. Unfortunately it's not. But it is my favorite "bad" tattoo that I've ever seen. There's just so much going on there to love. It's actually a pretty well done tattoo.
