What would you do?

Alright I posted this in my build but doubt anyone is looking in there to be able.to give me advice.

I am in the process of building a 609 to link under my rig in the next year or so probably next tax return to complete the rear at the same time. Anyways my rear s been making some funny sounds so I crawled under it and sure enough one shocks broke the other is about done, so since I can never seem to leave anything alone I'm looking at doing a 1-1.5" lift.
Don't want to go much bigger since it just purchased new 265/75 tires and think they would look a little dorky with anything bigger. I was thinking ordering up some 99 springs and ome shocks. Is there a better idea? Also have a 1.5"bl waiting from 4crawler I might be throwing on sooner then later.

What kind of tires did you get? I think it depends on the style and also the backspacing of the wheel they're on. I have 265/75's on a 3" lift and I don't think they look small at all. Unless I'm sitting next to someone with 285's...

Goodyear wrangler duratracs on stock 16" wheel was thinking of buying the spidertrax spacers
Another thing is the cost difference between a relatively cheap 1-1.5" lift to a 2.5-3" lift. When I will just be cutting it all out and have a pile of parts I'd get maybe half of what I purchased them for.

I agree. 265s can look great with even a 3" lift. Doing 99s with a BL would look great and give you the amount of lift you're looking for. I think you should just go with that, or leave out the 99 talls completely and just go for the BL.
