Do Nothing ?
What, ? Do nothing, just get hosed, !!! sure thats a put the head in the sand and take it,
sure he has no case, no recourse, the dealership has the whoops dumbass tech card to pull,
That doesnt mean tech Jockey has to take it, If in fact the pads are a lot thicker than the first dealership mentioned, @ least Tech Jockey should pin em down and get them to pull the Stupid card out,
And they may offers some pirk free oil change some lil tidbit, but then again may not want them to do even that,
Give em hell Tech Jockey, you aint gonna get anywhere, but still ,, Do nothing is not the answer either ,
You've got to be kidding about this, right? You're talking about millimeters here. What if it was an honest mistake in measuring the pads? And even if it wasn't an honest mistake, it certainly wouldn't be considered fraud. How do you know that the 2nd dealership didn't mis-measure the pad thickness?
What you should do is nothing. Just don't use the first dealer if you have no faith/trust in them. Trying to take action beyond that is futile.
