What would you trade your 4Runner for?

Had my 2008 for, well 2 years. Limited, X-REAS, HID's, blah blah. Nothing like having 4WD for the mountains, good gas mileage for the commute, seat warmers when it gets cold, room for passengers and a cargo area for "stuff".

Would you go for: a 4WD Tundra Crew Max? F350 Super Duty? Tacoma? 2010 4Runner?

And most importantly why?

Basically, a family member took mine out for a weekend and wants one of their own. I can let them have mine and get something else (with the appropriate exchange of $$$ of course) or help them get their own.

For my needs there is nothing better out there… not even close… so no trade for now.
But, I would help family member to find good 4gen 4runner.

Ive REALY been looking hard at the 2010 Land Cruiser, really need to take a test spin in one. Not ready for a trade in yet but lovin the LC. If not I think I need to get back to a RRS S/C, dont know what it is about the Rover but with all the gremlins and minor problems they have I cant get enough of it...I still miss my 06 sport. I may stay clear for a bit though until LR gets their heads out of there asses!

None of the above. If i have to trade mine, it will be the same 4th gen. ('03-'09) unless someone can convince me to change my mind.

If I wrecked mine tomorrow, I'd go looking for a low mileage 4th gen V-8 to replace it.

I'd be looking for a fresh, just off lease GX470. If I my interests were strictly on-road I'd have to learn more about a V8 Pathy. I had a Titan and always thought a Pathfinder w/ the 5.6 might be fun.

If I had the cash, I'd trade for a new LandCruiser. I have an immaculate 1990 Landcruiser FJ62, but even that WITH the 4Runner isn't even half the cost! Haha!

I'd trade for a 2010 4Runner Silver Trail Edition LOADED. (more realistic)

Depends on what their needs are. F350 is they need to tow a LOT. Sequoia if they want more room and power than a 4runner.

The more I see the new double cabs, the more I want one.

Nothing, if it's for another midsize SUV, unless it's a brand new 2009 4Runner Limited, which really isn't any different than what I have.

4WD Tundra Crew Max - Nope, Too Big & Bouncy. Bed would have to be covered. Bed is about the same size as my 4Runner with the seats folded flat.
Towing capacity is less than my 4Runner last I checked.

F350 Super Duty - Too Big and Costs TOO Much (w/diesel engine). Costly to maintain. Would buy one ONLY IF I had a 40 foot car trailer I needed to tow.

Tacoma - Not enough Towing Capacity for my needs.

2010 4Runner - Current offering does not have enough Towing Capacity for my needs.

Guess this means I would get a pre-owned 2009 4Runner with a V8 and the 7K Towing Capacity unless Toyota mans up the 2010 4Runner with the bigger engine and more towing capacity.

I know this is lame, but I was in Florida last week and had the chance to drive my Dad's 09 Honda CRV. If you want a tall wagon that handles well, with good gas mileage (avg'd 25 MPG), decent space, and all-wheel drive, it's a pretty nice package. Then I got back to Cincinnati, climbed in my T4R and drove home through a couple inches of snow. I think I'll stick with the 4Runner and drive it till the wheels fall off!

If limited to roughly same payments as current 07' Sport - I'd take a 2010 TE (but with leather)
