It has sat for 2 years needing a new timing chain and after spending the last week fixing all the fuel related problems I will be driving it again in a few days. Oh it did drive to the shop

Next year we will rebuild a spare motor, 22re of course; and have a really strong truck.

(got to be original miles without major rebuild or swaps)

Last week My 1986 R22 turned over 426588.8 K or 265070 miles. No engine work but just had most of the stuff where the rubber meets the road replaced.

1995 tr4, 155,000. Replaced head gasket and then had to replace lower block, all on recall of course .

New to the forum here, but just got my second 4Runner...Figure I better join a forum to keep this one alive for a while...lol Only paid $700.

1990 with 273,541 miles and no problems. Original drivetrain.

So far I like this one better than my '85, but I think the v6 is just as gutless .

her name is Ram Rod... 87 4runner 5spd. 300000 km, never been rebuilt, runs totally fine considering i drive the tits off of her (ie full throttle, shift at fourty five hundred, slide corners cement and gravel) and no wear of tear!! i have had the front end off the ground when i was wheelin several times, and she still drives strait as an arrow on the highway!!
