What's New Here??? I've Been Gone Over A Year

Well I still have my 4Runner, well the wife does that is.......but I still want something different with more umph since our SUV has the most gutless engine in the world. With that, I test drove a new Denali and while it was the most amazing technological SUV I've ever been it, I couldn't stomach the cost of a V8 SUV in todays current market (starting $70k price tag) nor the horrible gas mileage that comes with them.

Anyway, shifting stories what's new out there?

- Any new cool toys for our 4Runner or are we still the bastard children of the SUV market with no aftermarket modifications being made?

- Did Gadget ever release a Supercharger or did he quit?

- Any new performance parts out there?

- Any new big companies supporting the 4Runner?

No

No and I don't know.

- Any new performance parts out there?

Were there any to begin with?

- Any new big companies supporting the 4Runner?

No, just Toyota

Couple of threads you missed. A new guy is going to try something called "Plasti dip" on his pseudo-chrome emblems to black them out. He was encouraged to post pics. Also, some of us are trying to decide which tire is "best". Seems engineers don't know Jack. So, no, nothing new.

You might look at the "Southern SS Slimline Hybrid front bumper" here in the ever helpful 5th gen forum. I think it's a beautiful solution to the 2014 front end.

Haha I would pay for a V8, just not the rest of the cost that comes with a Land Cruiser. I'd would have easily paid an extra $5,000 for a V8 option as would many others I presume.
