2007 Tundra wheels will not fit on your 1999 4Runner. After 2006 they switched to a 5 bolt pattern.

I do have a question, though, are you sure they are 2007 wheels? Make sure by counting the lugs. The 2007+ Tundras have 5 lug wheels instead of our 6 lug 4Runners. Only Tundra wheels 2006 and prior will fit your truck.

That being said, there are companies who make wheel adapters. I have searched and it seems unlikely that they make the correct adapter to make a 2007 Tundra wheel fit (the bolt patterns intersect, which means the adapter cannot be made), but that was only one source and I am unsure whether or not it is 100% reliable.

Thanks for the compliments, double check your lugs and if they're 5 lugs, put them on craigslist for sale or trade and try to find yourself a 6 lug wheel.

Good to hear.

The rim size does not matter, it's the overall size of the tire.

If you want to run up to a 265/70/17 (equivalent to 265/75/16, or 32"), it's generally easy to run without a lift but may require some trimming and hammering depending on your specific truck's original height and whether or not the suspension has sagged over the years. Stock size for that wheel is 265/65/17 and will fit regardless, as thats equivalent to stock 4Runner tire size (16" models)

My truck currently has 285/70/17 tires on those same wheels, which require wheel spacers and a lift.
