what's the best place/method to weigh my 4Runner?

I just got my Soliport ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD II diagnostic scanner and it works well with the Torque app for Samsung Galaxy with Android

The more accurate data I can input into the Torque app on the front end, the more accurate the readings I will get as output on the other end... so how and where would be the best place to get the most accurate weight for my 4Runner with its modifications and accessories (i.e. it is no longer stock)?

And to confirm, the fuel tank does indeed have an 18.5 gallon capacity, right?

Yes the tank does have 18.5. Not so sure about the weight issue. Maybe a local dump? Around here they weigh your vehicle before you enter so they can price your load.

If you're more rural, any rock quarry...

There is most likely a commercial stone yard around your area, in fact there is one off of Harry Hines/635 area that has a scale. I went there with my dad when I lived in Dallas. There are trucks stops going out the major highways that will have a scale as well.

Just buy four of these. Drive up and get each tire on one and then add the four numbers you get. But like everyone else said weigh stations, dumps.

I can only get 16.5 in mine.

Your local DMV can refer you to a local location to have your car/truck weighed.

Scrap yard! You get some money for the junk in your trunk, and the weight of your vehicle.
They're generally very accurate as they use them to find how much they pay you and they use them to weigh there own trucks and avoid dot fines.
