What's the best way to secure a sofa into a 2001?

The sofa is 74 inches, so it will stick a few inches out the back and the back door won't close. Where do we put bungee cords or straps? We see two rings in the back and could probably use the floor rings holding the front seat belts.

What's best? What sort of cords, straps or rope?

I fit a dinning table with 6 chairs and a roll top desk in my 4Runner. Had to put 4 chairs on the roof. I second the ratchet straps, I keep three in my 4Runner at all times.

I fit a double door fridge int he runner, with the hatch shut. I did have to roll down the back window, but it fit!

I fit a couch in my 4runner and had it stick out 1/3 in the back. I secured it with 1 or 2 tie down straps to the built-in D Rings in the floor. It worked great.
