again anybody can post random youtube videos, i have owned a v8 charger and i had a v6 SXT model as a rental one time that i took to the track.

i ran a 9.5 in the 1/8th and a 2.2 60' time, i have a video to back it up but the time slips are long gone. my old silverado ran the same time and both felt faster than my 4Runner. guess i will just have to run my truck at the track to prove you are full of ****.

soooo my v6 automatic rental car was faster in the 60' and the 1/8th mile than both of those stock v6 and v8 4Runners. seriously bro just accept the fact that these trucks are slow.

No. Your whole rant said nothing except for the fact that a v6 sedan, that's not supposed to be a ''slow'' car was ever-so-slightly faster than an SUV... An '04 v8 4Runner...

If you said a 4cyl Accord, or a Prius, or a minivan, or a Civic, Fit, Elantra, non-turbo Jetta, non 'ss' Cobalt, Sentra, Focus, 4 cyl Altima, or any other ''slower'' cars, then you have something... My ''wow'' was over what I believe was a post that did absolutely nothing what so ever to prove the point that you seem so dead set on making.

If you want to say a v8 or even a v6 4th gen 4R ''isn't fast'' or ''isn't quick'' then that's one thing. But to call it slow is just simply not accurate. I realize thus is subjective, but... In MNF fashion: ''c'mon man...!''

Lay off it - how about it?

I know you're coming from an Audi but you definitely gotta give these trucks more credit in terms of speed. They definitely aren't slow. They are a pretty heavy-feeling SUV when you're driving it around traffic, but have you ever nailed it? I drove an '05 RAV4 and that felt way faster than my 4Runner, but in reality my 4Runner is way faster and blows that away (I know because my sister has it). I dare you to race someone with your 4Runner. I bet you never tried it. And if your V8 4Runner is a 17 second truck, get it checked, there's something wrong with it.

I was comparing vehicles he claimed his 4Runner was "so much faster than" it is actually very relevant.

No I have not been to the track with my 4Runner because it's a grocery getter/tow vehicle. I will not race someone because street racing isn't worth the risk you take. Besides tickets you are risking your life and everyone around you but apparently nobody here cares for the well being of others because on guy says he swerves into on coming traffic if they have HID head lights.
