This is definitely useful info for the pre-mod decision making process, thx Okki. I'll add that I've also been keeping track of the continued cost of my modifications and see similar numbers to yours.

AVERAGE
Mileage Pre Roof Rack: 11.5L/100km(20.45mpg)
With all mods listed below(lift, tires, roof rack): 13.5L/100km(17.42mpg)
With all mods and RTT 15.3L/100km(15.37mpg)

I just put new Bridgestone Revo's on 265/70/R17 my 2005 Sport 4x4 V8 (Gen3).
I replaced the Michelin 265/65/R17's LTX AT2. So new tires are not as heavy/stiff.

Seems to get a bit better mileage now after driving around for the last 4 days according to the mpg display. Freeway driving would get up to 17-19ish mpg and maybe hit 20 (granted the mpg display is probably off, but it's a reference point) after a long while.

With the new tires, it's jump up to 19 mpg after about 5 miles of hwy driving.

Then I put a Yakima MegaWarrior rack a few days ago, now the mileage hovers around 17 mpg.... and takes a while to get there. Took rack off and jump back up to 19+.

Can't believe it takes that much of a hit with the rack on ?? Not sure if it's wind resistance, rack vibration or what. Kinda makes me not want to use the new rack. I'm heading out on a road trip for 2 weeks and guess will test it out. Can always take the rack apart (2 pieces) and put on top of stuff in back ??? :loco:

Yup! That's what happens when you have AWD and 285's! I feel pretty good if I break the 13 mark. On my road trip on all highway, I might have seen 14.5. But I didn't buy it because I cared about fuel economy.

I am averaging 13.8 mpg, with about a 70%/30% freeway/city miles distribution. Adding OPOR Sliders two weeks ago cost me 1/10th.
