Wheel Noise

So I'm driving to work yesterday and I hear this almost rubbing noise coming from my driver side wheel. I get out and kick off the ice build up and think that is the issue. Then this morning the same noise is occuring. I looked around the wheel well and I don't see any rubbing and they are just the stock tires. Does anyone know what this noise could be? Ball joints? It's an '06 with 32k if that helps. Thanks in advance.

More info.

Is there a "beat" to it? Front or rear tire on the drivers side? Does it change with vehicle speed and/or braking? Turning the steering wheel?

I know my 2nd gen and 3rd gen were difficult to keep the tires balanced and the tires would go out-of-round if you didn't stay on top of the balance. The tire(s) will begin to "whub-whub-whub" as they roll. Or it could be wheel bearing or brake pad. More info, please.

It is the front driver side wheel and it is basically only on left turns, doesn't change with speed or braking, sometimes it happens when I am stopped and start to drive again but always when turning left. There is no beat, it sounds like a rubbing or like something is getting tossed around in the wheel. I just bought it around 29k miles so I'm assuming the dealer did the 30k service, I just don't know what it could be.

Mystery

About a week ago, I was driving on the highway when all of a sudden, i heard a rubbing noise from the passenger side what seemed to be the front wheel. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. After about 20 minutes, the noise went away. Hasn't come back since. I am due for my 20k mile service soon.

Alright...two issues:

1. Similar to previous post, I have noise in, what seems to be, the front-left wheel when I turn even the slightest left. This noise is proportionate to speed and is unchanged if I apply brakes or place into neutral. The best way to describe this noise is it sounds like I have a knobby tires when I am anything more than slightly left of center. Also, there is no visible tire wear.

2. About six months ago I changed the calipers front left and right. Since doing this, my TRAC and VSC lights won't go out. Brakes work fine. ???

Thanks in advance!
