wheel offset?

Just put a 3" lift on my t4r.... what offset do i need to order when purchasing new rims? I'm planning on stick with a 17" rim and a 285/70 17 tire

Something around 4.5" BS will work for you.

It's odd that 4.5" = exactly 114.3mm, just like the lug pattern, so 4.5" is the offset/backspace too?

I WILL TELL you that my runner has a 5.5 bolt pattern, lol, my bad...hey I'm new to Toyota gimme a break

Well, I'm running 265 70 17's on my XD Hoss' with a -12 offset and 3 inches of lift and I have some rubbing on the back side of the wheel wells when the wheels are cranked pretty far over to the left or the right. With that in mind, your 285 70 17's will require that you do some serious cutting with similar offset. Probably should stick around 0 offset or more.
