Wheel size??

2003 SR5 stock 17" wheels. Do I have to run 17s. Or can I run 16s. Mahalo

Thanks that's a huge help. I like some sidewall What about offset. I'd like it to be just past the fender say 3/4 to 1 1/4 out

My rims have an offset of 0, which is a 35 mm difference from the stock ones. My truck has a nice aggressive stance now.

I am not sure what year your 4runner is. The 06+ have slightly wider fender flares than the 03-05 yrs. Mine is an 06 and the factory sport wheels have a +30mm offset, with my Spidertrax they are effectively -1.75mm and at that offset with the 265 width tires , they are still just slightly under flush. To stick out .75" to 1.25" past the fender will need some really wide tires and wheels with a large negative offset. From what I have read they would probably rub like crazy and need major timming. I have seen some pics with guys that have 305's that look like they are sticking out like you would like. Take a look through the lift and tire thread.
