wheel spacers

Finally got the 2.5/1.5 daystar, and 32' tires are being shipped...

Im new to all this so im sure i'll eventually have some questions.

I have one now though. Anyone have any suggestions on good 1.25 wheel spacers besides spidertrax?

I know there has to be some out there a little cheaper, but then again I know this is what holds on your wheel.

If spidertrax is the way to go then I guess I will just have to go that route.

I have the All-Pro ones as well, price seems to be good and I have had not issues.

Sorry to jack the thread, but I was going to post one about this....I currently have the 1.5" All-Pro, and have excessive rubbing in the front. Anybody know of a good place to get a 1" spacer, or even a 0.75"? I would like to try those on the front to see if it helps any....

Not sure if you could go down to those sizes especially a 0.75" due to the length of the wheel studs and the thickness of the bolts that would hold down the spacer.
 
This doesnt help answer your question, but i am having my lift kit installed and was just wondering what tires you went with and where you ordered them from.
 
please excuse my ignorance, but whats the difference between the 69 dollar ones and the 79 dollar hub centric?

Which should I order?

Right now spidertrax has 5 sets of 'Blemished' for sale on their site under the 'Outlet' section at $20 off per pair, or $40 off for the whole set. I have these 'Blemished' and I could barely find a mistake in the color on my rig.... here is the link:

Also, keep in mind that you will probabaly have some rubbing with the spacers installed but that is an easy fix...

My pleasure, one other tidbit of info that I can pass along is:

When tightening the spacers to the front hubs, naturally they are going to spin when you tourque the nuts down. What I did was to thread 3 factory lug nuts onto the studs coming out of the spacers (skiping every other one) and use a pry bar in one hand between the lug nuts and used the other hand to tighten the nuts.

After reading what I just wrote I realize that I don't make much sense. I will try to take a picture this weekend since I will have the wheels off. The thought behind my idea was to be able to apply opposite pressure to the hub without buggering up the threads on the wheel studs.

that works too!!

My problem is my wife is always busting my chops about spending time and money on my vehicle... I have to get my stuff shipped to my work address so I don't have to explain my purchases all the time:crybaby:
 
Stick to the Spidertrax spacers. You absolutely know what you are getting on a part that MUST not fail.

Have the parts shipped to work and break it to your wife after the fact. If she is like my wife, it will blow over in no time.

Absolutely! It will automatically give your truck a more aggressive stance. Be prepared to do some minor body mods. As I am finding out, even with small tires there is some rubbing.
