Wheel/Tire size upgrade 2015' to P285 recommendation please

So I have started researching a bit and looking at previous threads.

I have added Bilstein 5100's up front +1.50"
5100's + Cornfed 1" in the rear

Now I want to add P285 tires w/wheels for mostly street bias but occasional light offroad.

I know there are a million options and opinions but what are some some solid choices for black wheels and more street oriented tires ? Any reason to go with bigger wheels which may not allow the larger tire ?

I realize there is some light surgery for the front tires to fit when turning but not a big deal hopefully.

knowing which model you have, and which rim you have would help.
If you have the 20" Limited edition wheels, you can run a 275/55-20 or a 285/55-20 up front with the lift you have with only slight rubbing on front fender liner, which can be pulled forward and repositioned.

if you up the front end another click to 2.5" you can fit a 305-50-20 on the limited edition 20" wheels with practically no rubbing anywhere except for off-camber turning. Passengers front fender liner will need to be repositioned forward further as well.

If you are running the 17" wheels, you will have to ask somebody else, all i have is info on the 20" wheels.

I run 17s on both my limiteds. For size range 265-70-17 you have way more choice than in the 20s. Also run 17s for snow tires. The larger tires look really nice but keep in mind that they are very heavy as well. I like C range AT types but do have MTs in E range. The weight is noticeable and these are only 17s with either 8 or 8.5 inch rims. Check your offset and backspacing to make sure you have room as some like K02s run abit wider than other brands.

I went from a 21 limited with 20” to 17” 285/70. Toyo open country at3. P metric due to mostly on road use but fire road and double tracks on trips. Smooth and quiet enough and only 46 lbs each compared to 54 lbs plus for c load an above. Way lighter than falkens for example if you don’t need all the plys. Had to fender mod and small bmc but well worth it. On bilsteins btw. With 2” ish lift.
