Wheel Well / Inner Fender Liner

Why is it sooooo dang hard to find info and posts on what you guys do to seal up the wheel wells?! Specifically the space between the frame and the fender.
I remember searching and searching about 5 years ago and I ended up buying a set of "lift lips" that were meant for a body lift. I did not have a body lift but I cut the rubber to fit. Well Long story short I did not fasten them well enough to the truck and the drivers side got destroy in some snow wheeling.

So what do you guys use to seal up the wheel wells?

I've always just used the factory rubber filler pieces. When I had the body lift on my Taco, I just made new ones out of some drawer liner materiel that were extended for the B/L.

Well dang. Looks like I will have to get creative and stuff. I will look into a tool drawer liner and see if it is strong enough
