you can ctrl+click the quote button to open each quote in a new tab, then cut & paste into one reply. takes a few extra seconds, but it looks cleaner and doesn't make you look like a post whore :biggrin1:

If you're on a PC or mobile browser there's a "+" for multi quoting. Tapatalk doesn't have that option, but it's easier to read T4R on mobile on Tapatalk.

Like what Drunner said. Taptalk doesn't have multi quote function. It's easier on the PC clicking the "+" on the bottom right of posts or I could have opened it on my mobile browser but easier to read on taptalk. Plus, I'm trying to get my post up to be a moderator...AH NOPE!

can't make it this weekend but i love big bear. can't wait to see photos and read float reports.
 
OK the wife doesn't know it yet but I reserved the last camp site left.

I'm on vacation until October 10th. She can have her fun in Arrowhead the weekend before but it's my turn the next weekend.

I have site 86 reserved for Oct 7-8. My leg is feeling good so I am up for it.

I have to let my 4Runner loose after the lift, It can't be held back any longer.

In other words I'm in.

i'll start my research tonight, but is there an area for dispersed camping nearby? i sleep in the runner.

thinking of tagging along, rather than going out on my own again. i'm a relative noobie though. will be bringing my dog with me, who has camped with me before.

i have the monday off too so if anyone wants to stick around an extra day with me, i promise i'm not a serial killer.

I have room for a second vehicle at my spot. It is a $5 per day extra fee. I will also be sleeping in the back of my 4Runner. I have it reserved for the 7th and 8th.

Serrano Campground site 086.

The wife is working so I will be flying solo.

You have a tent and sleeping bags, good start. I don't know what else you have but here's somethings to think about.

Pillows
blow up mattress: battery or electric air pump
fold up chairs
change of clothes: you never know
kettle for morning coffee
Utensils/plates/cups: disposable are good, I bring paper plates, plastic cups/utensils
paper towels/garbage bag
cooler: ice
firewood: we can get it at big bear
camping stove top: frying pan, cutting board, knife
Baby wipes:D
water to wash: I have a 3 gallon container
Food during run: This is what I bring - 24 pack water, sandwich meat/bread, condiments, chips, cookies, trail mix, crystal light
Food for dinner: things I've brought in the past - burger stuff, tri tip, potato salad, chips/salsa, guacamole, alcoholic beverage
For breakfast: eggs, bacon, chorizo, tortilla,

I know I'm forgetting things but it's a good start. I know some of the members will chime in.

Thanks man! That's why this socal group is the best. Always looking out for one another. I learned and continue to learn from all the members. I remember those days when I was a little pup not knowing how to wheel and camp....ahhhh the good ole days. HEHE
