Wheeling and Camping Oct 8-9th

Am from the Central Valley where no one care about us! Lmao man I wish I would of seen this post sooner. Been wnting to do this run! Maybe I'll be up on the next run, hope I didn't bash in!
 
Here's the recent report.

Initially units from the US Forest Service, San Bernardino County Fire and CALFIRE - San Bernardino, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's aviation unit responded.

The fire was never a threat to the community, and there were no highway closures or evacuations.

To allow the firefighters to access to the fire, Forest road 3N12 and the Pacific Crest Trail is closed between Forest Roads 3N12 and 2N09.

No worries. This is an active group. We always have a run happening every month. Just keep checking back.

Yes I will be camping. That was my next question I camped at the Serrano and big flat camp site before but would much rather hang with everybody. I was hoping someone can get a big group campsite and we can all pitch in. What's everybody plan right now for camping?

I lived in Merced for 5 years whenever we go camping or off-roading it's with a closed group circle of friends

Wish I could go. This month is a repair month...and adding some goodies so hope to see you all out November/December.

As of right now we have 3 campsite in Serrano that's a little dispersed. Me, Chris (TK422) and Pokits. I think space is taken. You may want to get in touch with [MENTION=140577]ChrisLe777[/MENTION] and [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] because they're dispersed camping yellow post. It would have been great to have Socal group in one site. This kind of happened real fast. We'll shoot for the next run to have a group run/camp. I think it would be fun. You are more than welcome to shoot the S**t around the fire and have some adult beverages.

I'm still a solid maybe. Camping is out for sure, but I'm still in negotiations for a day pass on Saturday. It got complicated by my father-in-law deciding to come visit this weekend. Maybe no one will notice if I sneak out in the wee hours of the morning under the cover of darkness?

I usually camp at the big pine flat campground. There's always spot open and No need for reservation, plus it's right on 3n14 so it's good for a little off-roading at night. Let me know if anybody up for camping at big pine flat, I can talk to the host there maybe to hold a couple spot. I am also up for the yellow post site if [MENTION=140577]ChrisLe777[/MENTION] or [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] have a spot for me. :-)

Bring the father in law offroading so no questions asked by the misses and MIL. The girls can go out shopping and bond, then you'll be home just in time for dinner. DONE SON!

Youre more than welcome to join up. I dont have a set location or anything just some spots we've used before. Im kinda just playin by ear with [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] but now youre in the loop as i know youll know. [emoji1]
