Wheeling and Camping Oct 8-9th

Just saw this. Might be able to make it our for the day, been itching to get my rig properly dirty. Camping probably won't work this weekend for me.

Will I be okay with a bone stock 5th gen trail? I've been on the main Holcomb valley roads before (long time ago), but haven't done much adventuring off to the sides. Don't have a ton of confidence in the duellers with the decomposed granite up there, so always good to check haha.

Also, these things open to non t4rs if some buddies wanna tag along?

Welcome bud! You found the best group! It's mostly loose rocks. There maybe some parts that's a little cozy underneath but you should be good. This event is open to whoever wants to wheel...as long as it's a 4runner or Toyota.

You'll be fine it shouldn't be a problem for you maybe just a lil extra spotting for you on a couple spots but that should be it
But as for your buddies there might be a problem...non T4R's that's fine but what kinda rigs are we talkin here? As long as there's no same letter double vowel in its name were good!!!

That's the best route wide open on Old woman springs /247 going through lurcerne to 18 and then the 18 on up is wide open as well 18 is a tighter road going up single lane each direction and some tight turns to look out for but that's about it. As you start to head up look to your left and you will see the OHV riding area and trails ...
 
Got my new shoes on and ready for tomorrow. I think I should have gotten a 75 instead of a 70.

But to be completely honest with you ...that is very easy. The driver in that video drives like a complete idiot you can tell he has no idea what he was doing he didn't ever touch the brake to ease himself down anything cause he was afraid to get stuck ...classic newbie/ rookie move you see that a lot. and his spotters were just shoot the shit with each other with no care at all and laughing just letting him continue to break something ...not cool.

This is a clip from a T4R run on 6/28/14. Keemonrunnin and I co-lead this run. It's a fun little trail. It's pretty much a cakewalk tho, you're right about that! The guy in the video was a total noob. Wouldn't take any direction. He was a bit dangerous so after a while we just said f it. Just keep clear of him. Never saw him before or since...
