You don't need to know what you're doing with this group, it's time to learn! Try to pay attention to the line that the guy in front of you takes. That's going to help the most. If you aren't comfortable taking that line, get on the radio and ask for a spot. Do NOT be afraid to ask for help. All said and done, take shit lightly and have fun. Sense of humor helps, but in the end everyone is here to help you learn what you're doing and what your limits are. I'm still waiting for Miah to accept defeat and admit he needs a 4wd. Hahaha.

If you are "that guy" who is new just be careful. Stop and look at the trail. Don't blindly trust strangers. Check out the trail for yourself.
My friend was driving down white mountain trail and almost slipped a tire off the edge. It was the part of the trail which has slipping granite on the high end and loose gravel on the cliffisde edge of the trail. If you get in a spot like that always stay away from the edge. Unless it is raining or icy then slick granite will be far more of a friend than loose dirt ever will be.

Not making it guys...off roading gods have spoken. Baofeng decided not charge, made it to the mountain then remembered we never got food, so turned around to walmart...after the joy that is the Colton walmart @11pm, i blew out a tire at green valley. .freezing cold tire change....full size but not SAME size...sooooooo now im home...got home around 4am...zzzz

Hope you guys had a great day out on the trails while I was having a mod day with TW. Holy shit you guys have no idea how easy we have it with the rear suspension. Coil springs > Leaf springs any day.
I shot Miah a text, but dunno if he got it. I was going to try to roll up tomorrow (Sunday) but it sounds like my ex is planning on an Orange County day as well as an early pickup/drop off so she can roll to her dad's house up in Lake Isabella after her visitation. That unfortunately blows my plans of dropping him off in Highland (at the 210/330) and then jamming up the mountain.

It's all good. Miah stayed at big pine flats no reception. But he and his girl had a bad day as well. They may have gone home last night. He blew out a rear shock and had to strap it again. Then he lost some lug nuts, luckily tire didn't fly off. He probably f this and went home.

Miah being miah. He has one speed...ballz out! It was a bad rim. Luckily it didn't fly off cause that would be catastrophic!

Thanks [MENTION=133319]MACT4R[/MENTION] for having us at your camp site. Sorry, had to head home after we woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back asleep.. it was freezing cold and I didn't feel so well. The Moscow Mule was delicious! Kai really likes my rig haha.

Overall it was a good run, definitely had a lot of butt puckering moments.
I didn't take many photos as I was the last person on the climbs but I got a few good shots, mainly my rig lol:
