Where can I find this seat cover shield for LESS THAN $65???

WAAY to much to pay when looking on-line at parts' stores. I would like to replace the driver seat plastic cover shield. Mine is cracked & sagging:

Anyone know where I can get it at a good price? I'd even take a used one...

Junkyard or partout thread, luckly for you it's "Oak" and not grey, interior parts in grey are very hard to track down it seems.

Thanks alot! Not having much help calling around to junk yards/salvage shops. Any guess at what the part# would be? I can't find it in my searching...

Junkyards/salvage shops won't be much help over the phone with a part like this, you're better off asking if they have any '96-'02 4runners with the seats still in them, and going down yourself and pulling the part off. THAT'S the way it ends up being a $5 part, if they go out in the yard and find it, and pull it off expect the price to be more like $50.

Very good point. I'm also finding that if they do have this seat, they're not willing to sell just the piece I'm looking for--they want to sell me the entire seat. Bummer.

unfortunately - those parts seem to break easily from getting in/out and putting weight on the edge of the seat. I've tried putting some cable ties under the seat and stuff, but even being careful not to "slide in/out", haven't been able to come up with a good solution to keep it in place ...

And THAT is why you tell them you're looking for "interior trim pieces", go out in the yard, pull the piece you're looking for, and bring it back to the counter to pay for it rather than ask if they will let you pull that part off a seat, lol.
