Where do I find Rim size?

Hi from Europe
I am looking to replace my horrible steel rims that came with my 4runner when I bought it. I know I have 16 inch rims....however when it comes to the off set and all of that I am lost.
I am sure that on this smart forum there is somebody that can tell me where and how I can look up the rim size with all the details that I need?
Do not feel like buying the wrong ones and have them shipped all the way to Europe just to find out I got the wrong ones.....

Hi,

I'm not sure which year you but your rim specs should be:

16x7 Size
6x.5.5 bolt pattern, you'll also see this shown as 6x139.7
+30 offset (If I remember correctly), you can get different offsets as well but I would stick to +30 to -10, most seem to really like 0 offsets on after market rims.

Hope that helps. A lot of online rim shops will find the right size, bolt pattern, etc. for you when you search based on your vehicle. Hope that helps.

thanks for the reply. I guess I should have mentioned the year...
it is a 2004 V6 SR5.
I was actually looking at just purchasing take-offs from somebody, not aftermarket.

Might want to check the classifieds. Looks like there is a set of sport rims currently for about $400, here

There isn't posted pic's of them but I would assume that they are the same ones on HB 4x4 and BlairB's rigs...Here is a link to HB 4x4s' pics of their last trip, you'll be able to see what rims look like that I'm referring too, here

**sigh** already checked the classifieds...but unfortunately there is a huge body of water keeping me from snagging rims that way...people just do not seem to want to ship overseas
I found some on ebay and then have to ship to lower 48 so they can ship overseas...I really like paying the USPS!
Unless I buy aftermarket and I do not want those.
But thank you for being thoughtful.
Just want to get rid of the steel ones, one is making a racket that is really getting on my nerves.
Wish I could find a roof rack also...this sucks getting parts not so easy from here.

Friends in the USAF? Can they have the used rims shipped to them easily/cheaply? I think they can...

Hi everybody,
about the shipping cheaply......you can do what we call MPS and send for free BUT not for the rims. You can send stuff downrange free of charge and vice versa within the military postal service. I asked about the rims and was hoping I can pull it off from post to post, but they said "no can do"
Therefore I have to ship it to friends states side and they will ship to me directly from the airport post office. For some reason they even welcome big boxes
I know it is not cheap but still cheaper than ordering rims through the dealer, especially with the dollar doing so horrible against the euro!
I just cannot take that damaged rim no more that sound drives me crazy.....
And we are officially offended...we are not AF we are AR
