Where do you get your Christmas tree from?

Do you go with your family to a tree farm or go up in the mountains to find the perfect tree? Even if you have a fake tree you keep in storage all year….how about some pictures of getting your trees or your tree decorated. If you love to decorate you house throw a picture in of that too!! We are going on Saturday to cut our tree, they say some snow may come in at the end of the week so I'm crossing my fingers (and toes) to be able to play in the snow with the runner!!

We have tons of garden shops and family farms you can pay anywhere from 50$ to Dr. Meth money...but HD has some really, really nice ones for $30....and believe it or not I'm not a cheap bastid.

Not sure how its done up there in Oregon but here in Colorado they do the same areas of the forests every year and every year the pickens get slimmer.

Same here. The kiddos seem to suffer from Chirstmas tree alergies too. I think it was easier to go to the mountains and cut a tree by hand than to get the fake trees out of the attic. Can't beat the smell of a fresh tree either.

Wife and I load up the kids and go to the tree farm. Older couple runs a top notch place with 5 species of trees to choose from. I'm sitting next to a 9.5 foot white pine right now. The house smells amazing!

Our family use to do real trees all the time when I was a lot younger. Then we went and bought a fake one and that lasted for about 7 years until I rented a 30 yard dumpster and cleaned out the parents basement and I threw that POS in there.

Going to go get a real tree this year.

I have people go to the mountains and cut it for me and deliver it to Home Depo, then I go there and pay them $45 and have them help me put it on top of the runner and done.

We typically drag out the pre-lit fake tree. In Florida real trees were pretty pricey. It wasn't uncommon to see $70-80 for a 6' tree and the prices increased exponentially for larger trees. Now that we've seen a few lots in CO, we realized the prices are much more reasonable here. Maybe we'll do a real one next year.

My wife is allergic to flowers, cats, dogs, Christmas trees, dust, dust mites, trees, grasses, leaves...

We have fake trees.

Went to Whole Food today and they have really pretty real trees!!

Our weather guy says very cold temps Wed, Thur & Fri….with "some" snow. Oh snow gods please let there be snow :hail:

Here ya go.
First time hunting a tree in AZ. apparently you have to hike out a ways from the road to get a decent tree. We settled on a "Charlie Brown" tree. The kids still loved it, and I was able to get the 4Runner dirty.

I live in the desert... so we either go to HD or a tee lot. We like the Oregon based lots. They have great quality, fresh and...a guarantee. Did you know places like home depot and lowes it takes them two-the weeks after they cut the tree to get them in the store and two-five days when you get them from an independent type lot! (I worked at home depot in the garden canter for years, this is fact not opinion)
