Where is my fuel filter????

I can't find one anywhere. I loked all along the fuel lines and the manual doesn't show where it is- just how to change it. There isn't one anywhere but there has to be. It's on an 87 with a 22r-E engine.

Its under the intake manifold behind the oil filter

That a drag. Sounds like a pain to replace. I figured it qas tucked in there somewhere.
I also looks like I have to nearly take the engine out to replace my starter.

I think you just have to remove the access panel in the front passenger wheel well and the wheel. Anyways, it could be worse, like on the 4.7L V8,where you have to pull the entire intake manifold and practically stand in the engine compartment to access the starter.

whats wrong with your starter ? is it making a signal clicking noise, if so just relace the starter contacts $15. toyota starters are built like a tank and expensive.

I need help removing the fuel filter on my 95. Can someone who's done this tell me some tricks? The side of the line that's after the filter (closest to front of car) is impossible to get off, you can't get a wrench up in there, any hints?
