Where should i buy both manifolds

Hello everyone !

where you guys getting your manifolds ?
I'm living in edmonton (alberta)

dealer price is 1200$ for each manifold sick !

I found a guy on ebay "fastmuffler" (toronto)
but I'm not really sure about quality of his products
price is around 275$.

Please give me some advice

I would buy the Magnaflow ones off Amazon. You'll just need to call Magnaflow and verify that the part numbers are the right ones. I tried asking the seller but they weren't responsive.

Not sure what year your rig is - if it's older you can use the Pacesetter ones too, but 2006+ you dont' have that option (like me).

That's the route I'll be going.

I would never pay money for OEM from Toyota. It's a flawed product, it's going to break again..... the fact that they want you to pay for it is ridiculous - the fact that they want OEM prices for an item which will fail again is stright up ridiculous.

my 4runner is 2004 v8

i did couple phone calls to magnaflow sellers in edmonton but they doesn't have this manifolds for this car . I did research on amazon but still nothing in canada . I don't really wanna get parts from states cause if they doesn't fit then I have to send them back .
I've seen some thread here where guys were ordering manifolds making by some muffler company but I can't find it now lol

I would like to point out that the majority of the cost is also attributed to the fact that the Catalytic Converters are built INTO the manifold. So your $1200 (while still expensive) is paying for a Manifold AND Catalytic Converter.

I'm not entirely sure if there's been an update to the manifold flanges on the newer parts (it could be, inline productions changes do occur and don't necessitate parts number updates/changes.)

If you can get away with emissions, you may be able to forgo the cats and have someone make you a custom manifold and/or gut/reweld your existing units?

I was thinking about this but than I found some information that if car originally is equipped with a catalytic converters ypu can't cut them off cause here in alberta it's a 200 000 $ fine for this lol . Car will not pass Inspections and people say that mechanics doesn't want to work on cars with this kind of mods .

so I decided to buy right parts with manifold just asking people who already did it where they get manifold from ?
I will be thankfully for some Internet adress (amazon, ebay etc) there is couple sellers but who knows what quality of their products is ..

For 2004 you should be able to use both the Magnaflow and the chepaer alternative - the pacesetter. There are a few threads here about people using the pacesetters, at least 2 people used them. I think one of them (perhaps both, can't remember) had a problem with a rattle after install but that's all I remember.
