Where to buy a New Knock Sensor?

Hello All,

I have a friend who just bought an 86 4runner with a 22re motor that is missing a knock sensor...

Where is the best place to find one? He has been told that you cannot buy a new one.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check the junk yard or local Toyota guys with spare parts. It's not a common part to go missing or fail so a used one should be just fine.
