I put new 265's BFG at's on my 2011 trail, and am now looking to upgrade to the Bilsteins, w/ the level in front. I decided on the stock size, because frankly a 1 1/2" bigger tire (285) only gives me 3/4" more clearance under the axle etc, and the trade off seemed too great to me. I want to improve the nose dive, handling etc, and get some lift in the front, and the Bilstein seems to be the best route. My plan is to set them at .85, the as I add skids, sliders etc, bump to 1.75 and add a spacer in the rear.
I have built Jeeps before, and bigger just keeps getting more expensive, and really screws the OEM engineering, so I am trying to be sensible with this vehicle.
So, who is a good vendor to buy the suspension from, as well as any other parts in the future. I had my go-to Jeep shops, but know nothing about Toyota stuff.
Thanks, and if I am wrong about this, I'm open to input.
BTW, the search on this site sucks. I does not narrow anything down enough to make it useful
