What size tire are you going to get?
Make sure you get the D load rating since the E is way overkill and your ride will suffer.
Man,they have gotten pricey in the two years since I got mine and they were under $130 a tire and I always buy the warrantees which are another $80 (they cover off road damage) and I paid about $690 out the door and I just checked a recent total and it would be $796. :awais:

On-line is alright to do and appears it would save a little bit.
$450 for tires
$100 shipping
$??? Then add on the cost of install balance,valve stems and that depends if you know somebody or have to take it to a garage or tire place.
You also can't get the replacement certificates with on-line bought tires adn those are $20 a tire through discount which is a must for me.
i also vote for a local shop like Discount since repair work and rotations are free for the life of the tires and there's some things that are a hassle for me to do myself.
When all said and done I might save about $150 w/o replacement warranty and it looks more like a hassle than the saving would be.

Some of the dealers around here get funny about mounting tires that you don't get from them. I personally would not do that from personal experience . I bought some tires like that , they never road right , could get a good balance , and although the shop tried , and a second shop tried it just didn't happen. Basically you get told its your problem not theirs. Then you need to pull off the tire , put old ones back on ( if you saved them ) send back the bad tire , squabble with them to send you new one's , re coop the cost of shipping and the time already spent at the tire place if there is a defect in the tire , plus all the screwing around and personal time if this would happen ( which it did for me once ) blah , blah .......not worth it to me.
