Where to get the Rosen OEM looking NAV ??

I am trying to hunt down one of these OEM looking Nav head units for my 13 SR5. the DS-TY10A0-P11 shows for the 2010-2011 and is discontinued. I bought a Pioneer AVIC-D2 for it, but I changed my mind about the Pioneer.

From what I understand the Rosen is plug and play, works with Steering wheel controls, and looks OEM.

Any car stereo Gurus out there that know where to get one?

I have an AVIC-D3, but I don't want to put it in...I NEED it to look more stock... My brain is messed up that way....

I ordered the $900 from Canada today, I hope I like it and i hope even harder that the install goes easy....Car audio is my weak point (and quantum tunneling ripple analysts).

I will post pics and details for after I get it.

I spoke with Rosen earlier today and they do have a new more "universal" unit but it looks aftermarket in my opinion and the screen is only 6.5'. If anyone comes across where you could purchase one I would def be interested!

I spoke with the company over the last 25 hours 4 times and if this unit is received well in the US I may be able to set up a group buy with them. Give me a couple weeks to install and test this thing and I will see if it's even worth recommending and it doing a group buy. Group buy price should save about $100.

The install should be simple if it's really plug n play. I did the party mode mod a few months back which required removal of the head unit and I did it in about 25 minutes.

Well it showed up fast... I got it today, I will not be able to install it until next week some time.

First thoughts:
-Plastic looks great, was worried it would be thin junk, like a cheap dash kit.
-Shipping 2 days from Canada WOW
-knobs match a Camry, not a 4Runner =(
-Map SD and Media SD are separate =) see bottom pic..

I’ll be interested to see how the resolution compares to the stock entune system. Also, what type of video inputs are on the unit?

Very interesting to see if this works. It looks like it will match perfectly. This may make my search for a 4Runner much easier if I can simply install an aftermarket OEM-like NAV :tongue:

Mine is in and working fine including backup camera. Two things worth mentioning, 1) the radio does seem to have a little worse reception now with this head unit 2) the iPod interface (USB Plug) does not work at all.

Nav, camera, blutooth, dvd, and general functions are all just fine.

Do you happen to have pics of what the display looks like (final install and navigation screen). I know they show photos of it on eBay but sometimes those are just to make it seem nice. And your backup camera was originally in the rear view mirror and now it's in the navigation or both?
