Where to jack up the truck to change the tire

Hey guys, I have changed tires out plenty of time on my Acura TL, but I have never needed to change the tire out on my 4Runner yet and wondering where is the best place to put the jack when cranking it up? Thanks

Floor jack or factory jack?
The owners manual explicitly tells you if you have that.

Not to sound like an ass, but if you have to ask you might want someone actually show you, rather than trying to gain a description off a forum.

Yeah, that manual snapshot explicitly says to make sure the vehicle is not carrying any extra eight so take out all Spanish coins you have in the vehicle.:rofl:

On the front you can put a jack directly under the a-arm so that all movement of the jack results in movement of the tire off the ground.

With the jack under the frame or front crossmember the tire doesn't start to come off the ground until the suspension reaches full droop.

I'm sure you have already started to Mod the 4Runner. Just use those BA rock sliders that are welded into the frame. Works like a charm for me every time. See they have more than one use. :cheers:
