Yep, I have an 04 and mounted it below the dash on the right as far as it would go toward the center console. Do you want a pic? I can go out and take one if you want. I like it, not in the way and easy to reach.

Right Side Location
I have my Prodigy unit mounted in the same right side location as the previous photos indicate. I leave it there at all times and it doesn't interfer or get in the way.
I contemplated installing it on the fuse box cover but was worried that the weight would cause it to come loose over time.

I bought an extra fuse cover (located on the lower left side of dash) and mounted the controller right on the cover. Since the OEM plug is located right there I can just unplug it when not in use, and pop the original cover on in seconds. In addition, you have excellent access to the controller when you need to manually apply the brakes and it is never in the way.

Too late for me, but for others this sounds like an interesting approach. My only concern would be in rough conditions off road (yeah, I know, maybe a personal problem) would the wieght of the brake controller be enough to pull the fuse cover off?

It all came down to my concern that if there was ever a situation when I had to manually apply the trailer brakes using the controller
I did not want the fuse cover door popping off.
For me, mounting the brake controller on the right side is a more secure location especially in an emergency situation.

Pop the cover off and you will see that it can not pop off from the extra weight because there are two long tabs at the top that must be inserted first and then you have to pivot the cover down to lock it in. The cover never comes off because of the controller. It is a very nice set-up.

Brake Contoller always on
I mounted my prodigy controller on my '06 SR5 and I noticed right away that it is always on, that is the power comes directly from the battery, not through an ignition controlled relay.
Is this normal? Has anyone altered their controller to come on only with the engine running?

I have the Odyssey and the lights only come on when I turn on the key.
