Got it and you're forgiven. Just be nicer. Or at least don't be mean while complaining about others being mean. Or something. Just pick one. I'm sticking with jerk because I'm so good at it.

Cheers.

This is pretty much what I expected. It's funny how the morons all come climbing out of the woodwork...

Pointless posts stem from laziness and cause more harm than good.

Can't post like this then just be deleted by the admin? I do understand how they fill up a forum and can cause a problem of repetitiveness. Point taken.

They used to just get merged into larger threads on the same topic. Unfortunately I haven't seen that happen as much as in years past.

I just don't get the mindset. These questions are going to get asked over and over. There's no way around that fact.

"WOW this question for the millionth time! Try searching, we aren't here to hold your hand. This is basic info with hundreds of threads on it, find it on your own!"

"There's a lot of info on the forum. The answer will depend on how you plan to use your truck. Generally tires, a lift, and sliders will suffice unless you get hard core. Poke around some of those threads."

Those 2 responses took the same amount of time to type. So we're resigned to the fact that we are going to have 100s of these threads, why wouldn't we want 100 threads with decent answers instead of 99 threads of smart ass responses that say to search for that one thread with answers?

I bet there are 4 people that search for every 1 that posts the repetitive question. So every non-answer in one of these threads makes it harder on the majority.

You may not want to go there. I tried....almost got banished. :lalala:

You too have completely missed the point. The questions asked for the millionth time are those like What Lift? Which Tires? Which Whatever? The OP went a completely different way - I want to maybe mod something so what should it be.....

I agree with what some others have said, just start driving it and see what you need and when. When I got mine I immediately wanted a lift. After a few trips out I realized a lift was not super important off the gate. I opted for some AT tires first, some upgraded all weather floor mats and a roof rack. Next I think I will do some sliders for better ground clearance from my nerf steps. You will be surprised what you stock vehicle can do. Drive it, enjoy it and then when you find something you need don’t take the cheap way. Buy once, cry once

My 2016 SR5 my girlfriend drives got new floor mats, cargo liner and New Goodyear Wrangler AT stock size tires. Never goes off-road and she loves it. My 2018 TRD off-road immediately got TRD front skid plate, RSG sliders, new KO2 stock size tires. This one does get out on the trails. Hope RCI has a holiday sale. Would like to add transmission skid plate. Using an organizing/shelf platform in the back that I used in my old FJ. Recovery gear, tools, hiking equipment, survival gear in there. We'll see how this works but I am already looking at a mild left and different roof carrying systems

Agree 100%. Drive it first, use it and you'll quickly realize what is a priority for you. There are some fun and cheap mods if you search that will occupy your time while you're deciding on the big ticket items. Have fun and good luck!

One of my friends is from Jersey. He tells me it's all spray tans, IROC-Zs and Boost cola.
now that is funny. I have yet to see an iroc or boost cola in decades. spray tans are around but not many.

and please "jersey shore" do not represent the state, then again they don't even live here

You don't have to tell me  As a Louisiana native living in Seattle, I have had to convince too many people that we don't all live on bayous, take pirogues to work and keep alligators as pets.
