Where to tap 12v for dash cam?

I recently bought a dash cam and I'd like to hard wire it into a key on circuit, preferable behind the glovebox. I can't tap into the cigarette lighter as I have done the mod that makes the circuit hot full time.

Is there a wire behind the glovebox that is key on hot that I can tap into? If not any suggestions on where to tap into?

I ran my power along the windshield edge of the headliner, down the driver's side A-pillar, and used a blank ignition-on fuse spot between the rear washer and power outlet fuses.

Might depend on which features your rig came with but look into a mirror tap.

the other option as mentioned would be a mini fuse tap and run the wire up the A-pillar to where you need it.

I tapped into the sunroof harnes under the map lights. Tried the dome light circuit before but the wire that is wired with the ignition did not provide enough current. Sun roof harnes has some thicker wired, use a voltmeter to find the one that has positive with ignition.
