Which bulb does DRL use?

Does it use either the turn signal bulbs, or the low beam headlights, or the high beam headlights as DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)?

I know. Stupid question. But I never thought of it and am on the road ordering parts and don’t have access to my truck.

Four different websites, including O’Reilly, Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts and superbrightleds.com, all say 3157/4157.

I have a 2004, so I had to double check what a 2008 takes.

I believe the DRLs use the turn signal bulbs.
