D Daveed New member Apr 9, 2007 #3 The power feed I need to find is for the dash lights. The stereo is WAY to bright all the time and is not hooked to the dimmer at all. The stock stereo harness didn't have a line for it that I could find

fourwd1 Moderator Apr 10, 2007 #7 Typically the stereo wants the +12V to the bulb varied, the other side of the bulb is tied to ground (via the stereo's chassis). Toyota has the illumination bulbs tied to +12V and the dimmer on the other side of the bulb to ground. So tying into any illumination bulb won't work.
