Which Lift is the Best and Smoothest

I want to put in a three inch lift on my 2005 4Runner, I was looking at the Icon stage two, but that lift is kind of pricey. I have heard that Icon lifts are the smoothest and have the best ride quality out of all the three inch lifts. I like the ride quality, and stability of the stock suspension on the 4Runner; I would like to keep those qualities. What is the best suspension set up that will keep those same qualities on the 4Runner?

I have the Daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer lift, and I really do like it. The ride is not much changed from stock. Also it is a much cheaper option then full coil overs.

They just released a full suspension setup for the 4Runner.

Spacer's are not a bad options, just usually not the 'preferred' method of lifting. Replacing shocks and coils usually helps out.

I have Bilistein 5100 adjustable shocks up front. Will your coil over conversion kit work with those shocks? Also, what do you suggest for the rear?

I have been very happy with the ride and feel of my OME lift. Went with the medium's front and back. Just another opinion.

i've got the bilstein 5100 kit myself. designed to work with stock springs. i used some sort of OME setup in the rear with same shocks as front.

rides better than stock. less floaty. super quiet. i just rub a little on compression with the bigger tires now.

with BFG TA KOs plus install plus sales tax, i came out to $3K.

if you are going to put an arb bumper on, first your gonna need more than just spacers, 2nd, its my advice to get stiffer spring/struts cause the "stock" front end is not gonna be able to handle it, especially offroad. think, OME with medium springs. just my 2c.

Then you will definitely want to plan for that when you select which coil you go with if its OME; usually medium for some additional weight.

If you go with the toytec coil over, the spring rate in that is plenty for the ARB bumper.
