Maybe so, but the newest 4Runner catalogue that I have shows the fog lights, without an asterisk, and mine came with factory installed fog lights and controls, and I did not pay extra, nor were they listed as an option. I guess Toyota, in their own infinite wisdom chose to include them after the initial release. Maybe its a west coast offering.
I don't know what to say beyond this. My Trail Edition has fog lights! They are hard to see on the avatar, but they are there.

added: I note on my toyota.com build your toyota website, that they no longer list the Trail Edition in the options list. and, the color choices for SR5 only includes white and gray. Toyota is winding down the model year.

That's great.
Can you confirm that your mirrors are not heated?

Another question: Why did you buy trail edition?
Are you going to offroad?

I'll second the Urban Runner option.

Mine is a 2008 urban runner and this is my 3rd runner, all have been sport editions...'02, 04 and now '08. They've been black, black and now white(blizzard pearl).

No heated mirrors. I bought the Trail Edition because it was on the lot when I was ready to buy, and I liked the looks of the interior--water repellant seats, etc. I don't really like the Tom-tom, but I like the radio display. Off-road not much, maybe a little back dirt road.

From what I saw on the presentation Tom-tom looks quite capable. I don't know how navigation works but all other features really add functionality standard audio lacks especially bluetooth integration and external mp3 port. It also has touch screen that is little bit small but usable I guess.

I would be happy if toyota had Tom-tom as an option on Sport Edition without adding urban runner package.

Urban Runner 4WD with everything Xreas works great in the mountain roads. The tom tom Sucks but i was warned about it before i bought the truck(In the reviews) 4WD works great in mountains and sandy beach

Could you please be more specific why the tom tom sucks?

Its not really the tom tom unit it self its the stereo part of the unit. I have the sirius and i pod interfaced and they keep going out and i have to reboot the unit turn the truck off and on then reprogram all of my settings. Toyota has put in a new stereo and it still does it. When i get back to the states toyota told me they will give me another one. the tom tom toyota stereo is a Eclipse -Avn 2210 P that they don't make anymore .Have talked to them and they can't give me a answer to its problem

I have heard of similar problems relating to tom toms but don't feel that bad... i have a garmin nuvi 770 (not cheap! but was a gift) :D and it suddenly went out one day. wouldn't respond to my mac or anything so i had to send it in for a new one (bought it in january so it was covered by the manufacturer warranty)... i thought that garmin was like one of the best gps units out there... anyways back to the thread...
