Which new rear springs?

I have already swapped in front suspension from a Tacoma in my 2003 V8 4runner, and now I'm looking at the rear. I was initially thinking about new factory FJ springs, but I dont think I would get the lift I'm looking for. I'd like the following improvements out of the new springs, and was hoping you all could recommend a set:
Good ride quality
Enough extra load carrying capacity to compensate for camping gear and a heavy drawer system
Approximately an inch or two of lift over stock

That's an interesting option--I hadn't read that. I'll do a little research here on that idea, thanks.

I'm leaning towards the 2" Toytec springs.

If I understand correctly, the TRD Tacoma shocks (with the appropriate bushing) that I have will work in the back, even with an inch or two of lift. They are nearly new, so it seems a shame to waste them. So I think I'm good on shocks.
 
the best rear spring hands down is the metaltech Springs. make the toytecs look like an amatuer atempt. handle all the crap i carry with ease, rides 10x better than my old toytec and OME 885 or 895s i cant remember what the rear # is. LTDSC will say the same thing. the medium one yield ~2" of lift and the heavys ~3", unloaded. loaded its 1.5 and 2-2.5" depending on what the load is.

I don't see any actual 'MetalTech' brand springs on their site--are you referring to the Icon springs?

Also, does anyone know if the factory Tacoma TRD rear shocks I picked will be sufficiently long enough for mild wheeling with the 2" longer springs?

Are you referring to their dual rate coil?

He's referring to the progressive (dual rate) coil spring they offer with their LT rear kits.

MT-GSJ-4052 is the part number.

Wheelers T12 spring is made by Eibach, from a production standpoint they make great springs, I think 1.5" lift, seems like a good option for me.
 
In our opinion here at the shop from the rigs weve built and ridden in, this is how they rank in ride quality from best to just okay.

Metaltech LT Springs, ICON 2.0, SAW (not available at the moment), ARB/OME, Toytec.

And what shocks do you usually pair with? Billies?
Looking at doing an upgrade all-around as well, looking at something different beside the standard FJ-springs-with-Billies. :)

Mostly ICONs, and lot of ICON 2.0 springs with Bil 5160 shocks. The MetalTech LT springs need a specific shock from ICON that is slightly longer. We also do a fair amount of Fox 2.0 with them.
 
I'll second the Metal Tech Springs. I'm running them with the extended 2.0 Icon Remote Reservoir shocks and have LOVED them compared to the Toytec springs I had on before. On and Off Road.

I have a pair of FOX 2.0 Reservoir shocks for 2-3" rear lifts. PN FRS 985-26-118. Would those pair acceptably with the MetalTech LT springs?

This is what logic is telling me as well. Obviously you're just limited in what amount of the spring's useful extension you can take advantage of based on the shock extension length.
